The American Diet and Our Health
We are sick, tired, and overmedicated. The top three killers in the United States are heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Heart disease claims 600,000 lives a year, cancer claims 1,500 lives a day, and 10% of our population has diabetes1. More and more children are becoming obese and more and more people are taking prescription drugs daily to treat the symptoms of their disease. What if there was evidence for what was causing our loved ones, family members, and even ourselves to become so unhealthy?
Below is some of the research done by modern pioneers like T. Colin Campbell, PhD; Caldwell Esselstyn, MD; Dean Ornish, MD; John McDougall, MD; and Neal Barnard, MD.

Prevent & Reverse Heart Disease
“Some people think the ‘plant based whole foods diet’ is extreme. Half a million a year will have their chests opened up and a vein taken from their leg and sewn onto their coronary artery. Some people would call that extreme.” – Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, MD

The Ultimate Diet Therapy
“It is no coincidence that the same diet that helps prevent or cure diabetes also causes effortless weight loss, lowers cholesterol and triglycerides, cleans out the arteries, and returns the body to excellent function. But no matter how much research appears saying the same thing over and over again, the tide is unlikely to change because of the economic incentives for the medical establishment of continued illness and profitable treatments.” – Dr. John McDougall, MD
